Mortgage rates dropped on fixed-rate 30-year loans in the United States last week for the second-straight week, according to mortgage finance company Freddie Mac. Rates for 30-year mortgages dropped to 4.58 percent, down from 4.69 percent during the previous week. Rates for adjustable-rate mortgages rose to 3.80 percent from 3.77 percent the week before.
