Morrissey, the former Smiths singer, received treatment for a concussion, whiplash, and an arm injury at a Los Angeles hospital, according to a report.

He was discharged from Los Angeles-area hospital Cedar Sinai, reported The Guardian.

It is unclear how he sustained the injuries, but there was speculation that he was involved in a car accident.

He also thanked medical staff at the hospital for their “outstanding level of care and attention.”

According to the Morrissey website, True to You, “Morrissey has now been discharged from Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles following treatment for concussion, whiplash and an arm injury. Morrissey would like to thank the medical staff at Cedars-Sinai for their ”outstanding level of care and attention.”

Earlier this year, Morrissey was forced to cancel six shows in the United States due to pneumonia.
