Kim Kardashian has stayed out of the public eye since news broke regarding the armed robbery of her apartment in Paris. More details have now been revealed about the suspects, as well as the value of the stolen jewelry.

Kardashian, 35, was able to provide a description of the thieves responsible for the jewelry heist after it was initially reported that she was unable to identify the masked suspects. She told authorities that five were white, middle-aged French nationals, according to Mail Online.

“There have been no arrests, but we are slowly piecing together profiles of those involved in this crime,” said a source familiar with the investigation. “What we have been told so far is that they were in their forties or fifties, and were of European appearance.”

The men are said to be career criminals given how quickly the crime was committed. Investigators have combed through surveillance footage of the area and believe the mens’ escape on bicycles were captured on one of the cameras.

The five men reportedly gained access to Kardashian’s residence after placing a gun to the head of the concierge. The concierge claimed one of the robbers said at one point: “Where is the wife of the rapper?”

Kardashian was in bed during the early hours of Oct. 3 when the thieves, who reportedly were dressed as police, barged into her room, held a gun to her head, and stole over $11 million worth of jewelry, including her heavily photographed $4.5 million engagement ring. The jewelry was “on display on a bedside table,” said the source.

A source close to the investigation told People magazine that it “was a very well coordinated robbery,” and while citing a BFM TV report, the magazine noted that the operation went swiftly and professionally. “It will take time to investigate,” added the source. “It’s a very complicated affair.”

Husband Kanye West gifted Kardashian the Lorraine Schwartz ring as an upgraded engagement ring earlier this year after he signed a historic deal with Adidas. During an appearance on Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM’s Radio Andy, Kardashian gave the backstory of the ring.

“I was sleeping and (Kanye) woke me up in the middle of the night and said, ‘Babe, babe, I got you something from Adidas,’” she said on Sept. 27. “And I said, ‘I’ll get the shoes in the morning babe, I’m sleeping.‘ And then he put a box on my pillow, a Lorraine Schwartz box, and he goes, ”No, open your eyes.’”

Inside the box was a 20-carat ring, with the word “Adidas” engraved on the inside band.

Kardashian is said to have filed an insurance claim on the stolen items. TMZ reported that 13 items were stolen in the home invasion and didn’t add up to a value of $11 million, as previously reported. The total worth of all the items is now allegedly $5.6 million.

The near-death experience has reportedly made Kardashian reevaluate her life, including what and how she'll post on her social media platforms. Kardashian is currently in California and will reportedly take a month break from work.

The suspects are still at large as the investigation into the burglary continues.
