Chinese and Brazilian tourists are coming to see New York in hordes, according to Go New York Tours, the city’s fastest growing tour bus company.

To accommodate, the company has added Mandarin and Portuguese to the language options of their automated sightseeing tours of Downtown Manhattan.

According to analysts at CLSA Asia-Pacific Markets, the number of mainland Chinese visiting the United States will double to 200 million in 2020. Chinese visitors prefer to visit Los Angeles and New York over London or Paris, according to CLSA, even though the European flights are shorter and cheaper.

The United States was ranked the more desired destination by potential Chinese travelers in a CLSA survey. The report also noted a shortage of hotels in the United States, especially ones that serve Mandarin speakers.

“These are important, underserved and growing segments of the marketplace. Filling this void positions Go New York Tours to expand even further in 2014,” stated Go New York Tours president Asen Kostadinov.

Last year, Go New York Tours served 280,000 global visitors around the city on double-decker bus tours.
