Hebe Haven Yacht Club Spring Saturday Series 2013 continued last Saturday March 16 with a combined race with RHKYC.
IRC
Mojito won Races 5 and 6 and is still the boat to catch in the IRC races following her almost perfect placing in races 1-4, she dropped to second place only once in Race 3. Stella and Vixen both showed good performances, alternating between second and third in the two races.
HKPN
Dea II continued her good run winning both races on corrected time. In Race 5 she was followed by Paloma and Jelik VII. While in Race 6, Jelik VII took second place with X-terminator third. Bits & Pieces took line honours in both races.
Sports Boats
Sports boats were in action for these two races producing the usual close competition. Merlin took the first race (Race 5) followed by Fly By Wire second and Sidewinder third. In Race 6 Fly By Wire came first, followed by Black Magic and Merlin.
Next Races
Entrants from Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, Norway and Holland will take part in the San Fernando 480nm Category 1 race from Hong Kong to the Philippines starting on March 27.
Race Day 4 of the Hebe Haven Spring Saturday Series is scheduled for Saturday April 6.
