A 33-year-old Texas model has been arrested after being caught on camera stealing packages off of her neighbors’ porches.

Kelli Russell, a model and bartender, was arrested by Dallas police this week after the video came to their attention.

Aubrey White, who lives in the same complex, told CBS that she saw the videos of the packages being stolen online and recognized her neighbor.

“As far as I know, she’s a nice girl, so this is a total shock,” added Leann Dawson, another neighbor.

Detectives obtained a search warrant and found “a large amount of stolen packages.”

Most of the stolen packages were never reported so police are working to find the people missing the packages, and will add up all of the stolen items. CBS reported that they plan to charge her with an aggregate theft charge once the accounting is finished.
According to her social media accounts, Russell is a model from Richardson, Texas. She enjoys international travel, posting one photo in 2017 from an elephant farm in Thailand.
“Spending the day with my elephant, Bu-Chong at an elephant sanctuary in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Feeding, swimming, bathing, strolling and having lunch together,” she wrote.

Another picture posted on her modeling Facebook page shows her posing in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

People commenting on her posts on Facebook also noted that Russell had created a GoFundMe fundraiser in December that said she needed a car.

“I’ve been without a car for two years now!!! I bust my [expletive] daily, seven days a week, working 3 jobs and I still can’t save for a car because of all my medical bills that only seem to stay the same no matter how much I put towards them,” she wrote in a rambling description of why she needed funds.

“I want to get in my car and just cruise like I used to do and clear my head with my babygirl. I want to be able to run errands on the weekends and take mini road trips taking photos because that’s when I’m the happiest. I want to be a normal adult again! Someone help a hardworking girl out :).”

As recent as four days ago, someone had donated, and in total Russell had received $330 of her $2,000 goal.
