MLB Suspends Cervelli, Montereo, Martinez, Bastardo, Valdespin, Others

The MLB will suspend a host of players today, including the Texas Rangers Nelson Cruz, the New York Yankees Francisco Cervelli, and the Seattle Mariners Jose Montero.

The others who will be suspended for 50 games include:

-Detroit Tigers Jhonny Peralta

-Philadelphia Phillies Antonio Bastardo

-New York Mets Jordany Valdespin

-New York Yankees Fernando Martinez

Fox Sports reporter Ken Rosenthal reported the news ahead of any official announcement.
