Mitul Shah, Rajan Solanki, Nehal Vekaria, and Jyoti Vaya Among Indians Killed in Kenya Terror Attack
At least nine Indians–among them Anuj Shah, Jyoti Vaya, and Neha Mashroo–were killed in the terror attack on Nairobi’s Westgate Mall over the weekend.
The attack has killed at least 68 overall so far, including nine Indians.
The seven dead from Gujarat are:

-Jyoti Dharmesh Vaya and Maltiben Ramesh Vaya (37 and 41 years old), whose family lives in Rajkot
-Nehal Vekaria, 17, of Naranpar village
Vekaria’s grandfather Vaghjibhai Vekaria told the Times of India: ”Like every Saturday, she had gone to participate in a cooking competition at the mall when the terrorists attacked.”

Two others, 8-year-old Parmashu Jain, the son of a local Bank of Baroda manager, and 40-year-old Sridhar Natarajan, an IT professor were killed, an External Affairs Ministry spokesman told AP. One of the four wounded Indians is reportedly Sridhar’s wife, Manjula.
“As we decide the next steps, we will appreciate if our privacy, in this difficult hour, is respected,” Sridhar’s family said in a statement, according to IBN journalist Smita Sharma.
