Missouri: Tornado Damage Reported Near Trenton, Spickard

Tornadoes have been reported in Missouri on Thursday, including one just miles away from Trenton.

Another one was reported near Spickard.

The National Weather Service issued tornado warnings across the state on Thursday afternoon.

Kyler Johnson, a NWS weather spotter, said that the supercell that left damage near Trenton is continuing to race off to the northeast as of 4:39 p.m. CDT.

A trained spotter said that a funnel cloud touched the ground just two miles north of Trenton on Highway 136.

Scanner traffic indicated “heavy damage” at 47 NW on 5th Avenue. The occupants are not injured.

There are also telephone lines down.
