A 6-year-old boy who went missing in Bourbon, Missouri, in August 2018 was discovered in an attic, it was reported.

Braedence Jones, the boy, went missing Aug. 3, prompting officials to send out an Endangered Person Advisory, KMOV reported.
The advisory was canceled after he was found safe inside an attic in Laclede County, according to LakeNewsOnline.com.
Woodrow Allen Ziegler, 41, and Aubrey Susan Sky Ferguson, 30, were sought by officers, according to reports. Ferguson is the mother of the boy, Fox2 reported.

Ziegler was identified in the report as Ferguson’s boyfriend. He’s a felon and was told by a court not to be around Braedence, said officials.

Ziegler’s alleged involvement in the case was a reason why the Missouri Highway Patrol issued an endangered person advisory.

Braedence went missing after Ferguson didn’t return the child back to his father, Ryan Jones, who has custody, officials said.

Ferguson was on the run from police and was wanted on felony child abduction charges, according to Fox2.

The child was only found after police executed a search warrant at a home along Highway N at around 4:35 p.m., according to officials.

They acted on a tip from the United States Marshals Service Midwest Violent Fugitive Task Force, said the Fox affiliate report.

The force was working with the Camden County Sheriff’s Department and other agencies, saying that sightings of the suspects were reported in Laclede County and Stoutland, a city.

The boy’s mother is now in custody, Fox2 reported.

Ferguson is also being held on a warrant for child abduction out of Camden County and on a warrant from Crawford County. Additional charges are being sought, the report stated.

Ryan Jones’ girlfriend Breanne Dominguez, wrote on Facebook about the boy coming home.

“OUR LITTLE BOY IS HOME. GOD IS SOOOO GOOD!!!! ... Thank you all for the prayers, shared, phone calls and etc. we don’t know how to thank everyone enough. Our hearts are so full of joy atm. Just thank you everyone,” she wrote.
