A 17-year-old girl who has gone missing in Virginia is in danger, according to state police.
Virginia State Police issued an endangered missing child alert for Cayla Sue Austin, warning the public that the girl may be in danger and urging them to be on the lookout for her.
Austin was last seen by her family back on Jan. 5.
She may be with friends, police said, reported NBC12.
Police said she may have access to a vehicle but aren’t sure at this time.
She may also be in need of medical attention.
According to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, Austin is white with blonde hair and blue eyes.
She has a lip ring on her bottom lip.
Austin stands 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 115 pounds.
Anyone who sees her or has information is urged to call the police.
