A tornado was reported near Remer, Minnesota, on Thursday evening, according to reports.

Shawn Reynolds of the Weather Channel tweeted: “Confirmed, large & extremely dangerous tornado located east of Remer, MN; seek shelter immediately.”

The National Weather Service issued a tornado warning for the town, located in northeastern Minnesota.

The warning expired at 7 p.m. CDT.

It said, “A Tornado Warning remains in effect for South Central Itasca. Northwestern Aitkin and east central Cass counties until 7:00 pm CDT. At 6:50 pm CDT, a confirmed large and extremely dangerous tornado was located 7 miles west of Hill City, just north of Highway 200, and moving Southeast at 25 mph.”
