“Mighty Ducks” star Shaun Weiss was arrested for public intoxication during the weekend, according to officials.

Weiss, 39, was arrested on Aug. 4 in Oroville, California, at around 12:47 a.m. local time for allegedly “being under the influence of drugs,” said a statement from the Oroville Public Safety Department.

Weiss is known for his portrayal of Greg Goldberg in the “Mighty Ducks” films. He also appeared in “Heavyweights” as well as TV shows “Freaks and Geeks” and “The King of Queens.”

“He was transported and booked into the Butte County Jail,” the police statement said. “He was arrested for intoxication only and no further criminal proceedings are desired at this time.”

“We have been inundated with calls from various news outlets and others about an arrest that occurred over the weekend,” the office added.

In July 2017, he was sentenced to 150 days in the Los Angeles County Jail for petty theft. In August 2017, Weiss was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and received 90 days in jail.

“Hopefully when he gets out, he will go to rehab so he can stay sober,” Weiss’s manager told the New York Post in July 2017.
