After the Nokia purchase the phone division of Microsoft has one goal only – to make a name on the market by offering more and more smartphone models. This is the reason why soon Microsoft will offer a new version of the affordable Lumia 830 handset.

The specs of the device are not official as of now but preliminary reports show that the upcoming device will come with support for two SIM cards, a 5-inch display at 720p resolution, 1 GB of RAM, a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor and a 8.7 MP rear shooter.

The camera may have additional goodies in the form of PureView and it even might be the same one, now featured in the Lumia 920 smartphone.

The rest of the specs of the upcoming Lumia 830 include 8 GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot (up to 64 GB or 128 GB) and Windows Phone 8.1 but the device is likely to be updated to Windows 10 by the end of the year.

There’s no information on when the Lumia 830 will officially arrive but the device may be unveiled at the upcoming MWC 2015, which is scheduled for 2-5 March 2015. The Lumia 830 is expected to cost around EUR 235/USD 275 when it comes into this world.
