LANSING—Grace Norris, protesting election fraud, felt this was a “give me liberty or give me death” moment if there ever was one in modern American history.

“If we lose this election, it’s not about Donald Trump or Joe Biden, it’s not about Republicans or Democrats, it’s about our freedom, it’s about our foundation, which is the Constitution,” Norris said at a Stop the Steal rally in Lansing, Michigan on Nov. 21, 2020.

“If we lose our Constitution, we are losing our country, so the USA will no longer be existing like it was before,” she said. “And I came here for freedom.”

“I don’t want my rights to be stolen, because I voted and I don’t want my vote to be stolen, I don’t want my vote to be deleted, that’s why I’m here,” Norris said. “To protect the American election, and the legal votes, and also the freedom of my country, the freedom that I love.”

Linrong Gu didn’t vote in this election, but that doesn’t mean a stolen election wouldn’t affect her.

“Democracy is built on the transparency of the voting system. If we don’t have a transparent voting, system, if we allow voter fraud going on, then we don’t have a real democracy,” she said. “I came from China, and am in the process of being naturalized to become an American citizen. I don’t want this country to have fake democracy!”

“This is the country founded by our founding fathers and they said this is the country by the people, of the people, and for the people, and if our vote doesn’t count we don’t have a real America,” she said. “So I’m here protesting voter fraud.”
