Second Judgment for Scam Plastic Surgeon

PARIS—The infamous Michel Maure is now on an appeal judgment in his case, after being sued for putting the lives of at least 100 women at risk, as they underwent plastic surgery in his clinic.

“I’m completely innocent,” Maure claimed, who has made headlines for trying to escape French justice by leaving on his sailboat from Spain.

Maure was practicing liposuction and breast surgery in a private clinic with low quality facilities. His patients complained of enduring great pain from his surgery, and some were left severely disfigured after his procedures. He was sentenced to three years in prison during his first judgment.
