Chicago Bulls v Miami Heat

Lebron James scored 35 points, grabbed 11 rebounds, and dished out 5 assists as the Miami Heat (15-5) beat the Chicago Bulls 97 – 93 in a battle of two of the NBA’s best teams this season.

Chicago guard Derrick Rose had 34 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists for the Bulls but missed two critical free throws with 22 seconds remaining that would have gave his team their first lead of the day.

The Bulls however got another chance after Rose’s two misses when Lebron James missed a pair himself. But after a battle for the rebound resulted in an inadvertent whistle by the referees, the teams held a jump ball for possession with 16 seconds remaining. Miami then gained possession and after Heat guard Mario Chalmers made one of two free throws, Chicago missed another opportunity to tie as Rose’s jumper in the lane fell short.
