Melissa Gilbert wedding: The actress and director was married to Timothy Busfield on April 24.
“Thanks for all the well wishes,” Gilbert tweeted to her 117,000-plus followers. “Here’s a photo. Taken with my iPhone!!”
Gilbert wore a red strapless dress while Busfield wore a blue tuxedo.
They had a private ceremony at San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara.
Gilbert, born in 1964, was Laura Ingalls Wilder in the television series “Little House on the Prarie,” which ran for about a decade in the 1970’s to 1980’s.
Busfield, born in 1957, has been a regular or recurring character on 11 television series, including “The West Wing” and “All My Children.”
“They’ve known each other for quite some time, as their paths have crossed off-and-on over the past 20 years,” a friend told US Weekly.
