ZURICH—The New York-based Shen Yun Performing Arts International Company’s fourth performance was held at the Kongresshaus in Zurich on March 24.
Mr. Markus Ragginger, a manager of the Swiss radio and television industry, was in the audience.
“I enjoyed the show tremendously. There was so much energy. It was very impressive—the colors and the movements,” said Mr. Ragginger.
“What I’m trying to say is, everything was so synchronized, excellent choreography. This coupled with the animation on the backdrop I found to be unique. The backdrop pictures and then reality—this was very beautiful and impressive.”
When the subject turned to the dancers, he said “The body control of the dancers was amazing.”
He spoke of what he had seen in the dance Lotus Leaves and said “This was beautiful not only because of the colors, but also because of the movements.”
“The scene Joyful Little Monks that were cleaning the temple, was jolly good and very amusing.”
Lastly, he spoke of the persecution of Falun Gong and the scenes he saw on stage.
“The persecution of the young man was very emotional, especially when the fairies helped him when he had to protect himself. By all means, this was very touching.”
Before leaving he said that he will tell his colleagues that seeing the Shen Yun would “be worth their time.”
New York-based Shen Yun Performing Arts has three touring companies that perform simultaneously around the world. Shen Yun Performing Arts International Company will next perform in Frankfurt, Germany from March 30-31.
