McKayla Maroney was questioned by a photographer about the nude photos of her that leaked, but smiled instead of commenting.

Maroney was walking into an office building with her mother this week when a photographer spotted her and tried to get a comment about the pictures, which were posted on 4chan and Reddit among other websites.

Maroney only smiled, prompting the photographer to ask her if her fans are being supportive, to which she replied “yeah.”

Maroney, an Olympic gymnast, was one of the women targeted in the massive hack, which Apple says happened when hackers targeted specific people and obtained access to pictures and videos.

Maroney said on Twitter that the pictures were fake but her attorneys later sent a letter to multiple adult websites informing the site that Maroney was underage in several of the pictures and demanding that the photos be taken down.

Reddit later posted a thread in which a moderator said that all pictures of Maroney and Liz Lee were taken down off the site and telling users not to put any more.

“Effective immediately: any images/galleries/torrents/mega dumps/etc containing McKayla Maroney or Liz Lee will be immediately removed due to the fact that they were underage (<18) in the photos taken,” the moderator post said.

“The site admins have let us know that McKayla Maroney was underage in the photos as well and that we need to remove them. If we don’t remove them, then this subreddit will most likely be banned (very quickly). Liz Lee was not part of the leaks, but people have been posting her images anyways.”
