The Director known as McG, previously responsible for “Terminator Salvation” and “Charlie’s Angels,” is reportedly in talks with Sony Pictures and Escape Artists to bring “Masters of the Universe” to the big screen. The franchise, based on the Mattel Toy line of the 1980’s, was previously adapted in 1987 by Cannon Films and starred Dolph Lundgren in the role of He-Man.
