U.S. Senator John McCain reported for jury duty on August 12.
“Doing my civic duty for a change,” he told the Arizona Republic.
“See if we can’t re-institute law and order here in Maricopa County which is badly deteriorating, so we’re out to get those criminals, right?” he said, smiling.
McCain said he’s been called in several times before but never placed on a case.
Later, the Republic reported that McCain wasn’t chosen this time, either.
