A tornado warning was issued for the southern part of Prince George’s County in Maryland on Monday evening.
The National Weather Service said that the warning will remain in effect until 8:00 p.m.
It said that a severe thunderstorm that could possibly produce a tornado was located near Clinton, moving northeast at around 15 miles per hour.
Impacted locations include Marlton, Cheltenham, and Andrews Air Force Base.
The agency said to “take cover now” and move to an interior room on the lowest floor of the house. If possible, go inside the basement.
