Mary Greff, a former 2008 Miss New Jersey Teen USA beauty pageant contestant, was found strangled to death in Waldwick, New Jersey. Her boyfriend, Mark Spatucci, was arrested in her death.

Greff’s body was found in her home in Bergen County, reported NBC New York. Her infant son was found next to her and was not harmed.

Her father came home and found her dead on Wednesday.

Officials told NBC that Spatucci, 22, strangled her after an argument. He was charged with felony murder, burglary, and the endangerment of a child.

Prosecutors said that he exited the home via a second-floor window after killing her.

The body of Greff was in her  family’s home for about 12 hours before she was located.

“They left in the morning, and it wasn’t until they returned when they realized that they had not heard from their daughter,” Bergen County Prosecutor James Molinelli told ABC News. “So that’s when the father went upstairs and found the body.”

According to the Miss New Jersey Teen USA website, Greff was a contestant in 2008.

Neighbors told CBS News that Greff moved back in with her parents after she broke up with Spatucci months ago.

A woman who said she was Spatucci’s mother told NorthJersey.com that she is concerned about her infant grandson.

“I don’t know anything,” she said. “They’re not telling me a damn thing. I’m trying to get my 9-month-old grandson.” The woman, who declined to give her name, said she was not able to find her grandson.
