Mario Kart 8 finally got a US release date--May 30, 2014.
The game is already so popular in Japan that it is outselling Playstation 4’s on the country’s Amazon website.
Japan’s release date is February 22.
One of the reasons the game is selling so much there is that it was promoted heavily by Nintendo Direct.
Also, a new trailer revealed that the game will include seven new characters--all the Koopalings. Those are Iggy, Morton, Lemmy, Ludwig, Roy, Wendy, and Larry.
