A tourist was arrested after police officers found “what appeared to be a pipe consistent with the use of marijuana” in her bag.

U.S Capitol Police spokesman Shennell Antrobus said that the tourist, identified as Bethany Joy Adams, also had a “green leafy substance” in her bag, which later tested positive for marijuana.

Adams was on her way to view the House of Representatives.

She is 20 years old.

Corrections: An earlier version of this article incorrectly referred to who was on the way to the House of Representatives. That was Adams. Also, Officer Antrobus is the U.S. Capital Police spokesman.
