The First Lady of California, Maria Shriver, recently announced the guest speakers for the upcoming 2010 Women’s Conference in Long Beach, California. The theme for this year’s conference will be “It’s time” and will “showcase more than 140 speakers and participants to inspire, empower, and educate more than 30,000 attendees for three full days,” according to a press release from the organization. Among the long list of celebrities and renowned leaders to be featured are: Laila Ali, Yahoo! CEO Carol Bartz, Mary J. Blige, Erin Brockovich, Campbell Brown, Deepak Chopra, U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and Matt Lauer. The event began in 1986 and has grown to become what some say is the largest gathering of women in the country.
