Lacy Faddoul and Marcus Grodd are rumored to be engaged following the filming of Bachelor in Paradise.

The whole filming in Mexico only took about three weeks, but Faddoul and Grodd were one of the only couples to remain together after the show.

Reality Steve says that in the last episode, the couples are told that they have to decide whether to stay together or not, and they can break up before or after going on fantasy suite overnight dates.

Four of the remaining six couples break up but Faddoul and Grodd, as well as Cody Sattler and Michelle Money, stay together, according to Reality Steve.

Then three former couples from the Bachelor series are brought in to give advice on making their relationship work.

He later said that Marcus and Lacy were engaged. The filming ended late June/early July, so they’ve been engaged for around two months.

Grodd, 26, is a sports medicine manager who was an early favorite on the previous season of The Bachelorette. Fans would likely remember him for being the first to tell her that he loved her, and performing two stripteases. He lasted until the hometown dates, proclaiming that Andi Dorfman was his soul mate and that he was ready to propose to her, but she sent him home after the dates, saying that she couldn’t return those feelings.

Grodd is from Dallas, Texas.

Faddoul, 26, is less known by Bachelor fans because she was eliminated on the first night in the previous season of The Bachelor with Juan Pablo Galavis.

The nursing home owner was sent home along with eight other women.

The couple has fueled the engagement rumors by flirting over Twitter recently. They joked about them reenacting the femous lift from the farewell dance in Dirty Dancing in the episode that aired on August 18. “We should have practiced. Lol! #epicfail,” Lacy said via Twitter.

Marcus responded: “We were 80/40 on that lift!” and added a winking emoticon.

Marcus did try to dispel the rumors by telling the blog Rumor Fix: “My dating life has been non-existent actually.”
