Marcelo Vieira Takes Heat on Twitter for Dive
Spanish soccer team Real Madrid has disappointed its fans. Especially the team’s defender Marcelo Vieira da Silva Júnior.
April 6’s Real Madrid vs. VfL Wolfsburg match—Game 1 of the Champions League quarterfinals—finished 2-0 for the German home team. But perhaps more disappointing than the loss is 27-year-old Vieira’s flagrant dive.

Marcelo fell down harder than a confidence of a Barca player when the tax authorities visit.

Wolfsburg’s midfielder, Maximilian Arnold, was booked for a yellow card in the 69th minute. Arnold was guilty, it seems, of fouling Vieira.
The Brazilian soccer player, commonly called Marcelo, has been taking fire on Twitter for his “disgraceful” behavior.
The dive even became a moment on Twitter.

Marcelo is the sort of guy who’d put his fist through your window & sue you for cutting himself. https://t.co/2sCOSrwc1b
