Since the beginning of October, people across China have been posting statements to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). In Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and Baotou City, Inner Mongolia, statements have been posted on power poles, billboards, gates to residential area, hallways of apartment buildings, hallway walls, and in park gazebos.

On a power pole opposite the Ningxia Hospital of Infectious Disease in Yinchuan City, someone wrote in bright red ink on a white sticker, “Heavens will eliminate the CCP. Please withdraw from the Party and the [Communist Youth] League for your own safety.” Another ‘public notice’ posted on a power pole opposite a treatment center at the hospital associated with the Ningxia Medical University reads, “The Communist Party has committed unpardonable crimes! From the Cultural Revolution, the Great Leap Forward, the Three-Anti and Five-Anti Campaigns, the Campaign against the Rightists, the Tiananmen Square Massacre, to the persecution of Falun Gong, it has brought unprecedented disasters to the common people. Since the CCP took power, about 80 million people have died from unnatural causes. Now the heavens are about to destroy the CCP.”

On a bulletin board at a bus stop in Yinchuan City, someone signed a statement with the name Jue Xing, which literally means “awakening”. The statement reads, “After reading the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, I fully recognized the evil nature of the CCP, which deceives, harms and hurts the people, fights with nature, attacks religions and faith groups, and commits blasphemy. In the various movements, the CCP has killed tens of millions of people. It has sinned so much that the heavens are ready to destroy it!”

In the hallway of an apartment building opposite the Qingshan District Tax Bureau in Baotou City, someone posted the following sticker, “Since the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party was published, more than 5.1 million people have withdrawn from the CCP or the Communist Youth League, in order to choose a good future for their families and themselves.” More stickers have been posted at the ticket sales office in Laodong Park in Baotou renouncing membership in the CCP.
