Manny Pacquiao will win his upcoming fight against Chris Algieri, according to longtime Pacquiao opponent Juan Manuel Marquez.

Marquez has fought Pacman four times, winning once (at the last fight, in 2012.

Pacquiao (56-5-2, 38 KOs) will fight Algieri (20-0, 8 KOs) at the November 22 fight in Macau, China.

“He barely has a chance to win,” Marquez told Boxing Scene.

“Algieri is strong and he’s durable. He also has boxing ability as shown against Ruslan Provodnikov but he doesn’t have the style to beat Pacquiao--who has great speed and power. I believe that (Pacquiao) can win by knockout.”

Pacman trainer Freddie Roach also chipped in this week, telling the Manila Standard that while Algieri is tall and has a good jab, he’s nothing special.

“Pacquiao is going to have to press him a bit and will probably knock him out along the way,” Roach said.

Pacquiao will reportedly tain at a gym being built at the Azure Resort in Bicutan, Tagiug.

That’s according to Eric Pineda, manager of the KIA expansion basketball team that Pacquiao recently joined as a playing coach. Pineda said training there will give Pacquiao the opportunity to watch the basketball practices in between training for the upcoming fight.

But Roach said that he’s pushing for the training camp to be in General Santos City.
