A crane on West 57th Street is dangling in New York City after an apparent malfunction, according to reports.

The Midtown Manhattan crane stopped moving after 9:30 a.m. and dangled its load around 20 floors up, according to ABC.

The station reported that the crane was raising materials when the malfunction took place.

NBC NY reported that West 57th Street was closed.

The crane was working on the One57 apartment building.
