Rumors have been flying about Manchester United sacking David Moyes, but it appears that his future is secure until at least the end of the season.

The Guardian’s Jamie Jackson said via Twitter that Moyes is secure until at least then.

Rumors picked up this week, in particular one that said the team made an announcement to the New York Stock Exchange about Moyes.

However, journalist Rob Harris said via Twitter that no announcement was made on Wednesday, or any day.

Irish bookmaker Paddy Power suspended bets on him being sacked after Manchester lost 2-0 to Olympiacos in the Champions League this week.

The loss leaves the team a difficult path to the finals if they even reach it, and also leaves in doubt its place in next season’s Champions League.

Sky Bet also slashed offs on Moyes from 11/1 to 5/6 after the loss, and other similar services followed suit.

There hasn’t been any official word from the club concerning the rumors.
