Mama June Shannon, the matriarch on TLC’s “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo,” attempted suicide while she was pregnant with Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Shannon, said the ex-wife of Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson.

His ex, Patricia East, told the Star tabloid that Sugar Bear called her in early 2005 when she was pregnant with Alana, according to RadarOnline.com.

“Michael told me, ‘Please come over! June is trying to kill herself!’” East was quoted as saying. “I wanted to do the right thing, so I went over. She was upset about something and had taken an overdose of Tylenol or Advil. We called poison control, and I talked to her to try and keep her awake.”

After that, Mama June recovered and gave birth to Alana on Aug. 28, 2005.

East added that Mama June also told her in 2004: “She told me, ‘My name is June Shannon, and I’ve been sleeping with Michael. I know he’s your husband— but he’s mine now!’ I found out later that she'd also been pregnant by Michael while we were still married, but she lost the baby.”

Sugar Bear and East got divorce in 2004.

In another report, Anna Marie “Chickadee” Cardwell said that convicted sex offender Mark McDaniel--who was in a relationship with Mama June--may actually be the father of her sister, Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon.

“That was supposed to be her so-called father or whatever it is,” Cardwell said, according to FoxNews. “Out of all the kids we have, Mama does not know who Pumpkin’s daddy is. And Pumpkin thinks it’s Mark, which kind of hurts my feelings, because Mama is making her believe that someone who did that to me is her father. Now Pumpkin hates me for it.”

In October, TLC canceled “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” after it was revealed that Mama June was in a relationship with McDaniel. He served 10 years in prison for molesting Cardwell.
