Man Who Put Feet on Desk in Pelosi’s Office During Capitol Breach Will Be Released From Jail: Judge

The man who placed his feet on a desk in an office belonging to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) during the breach of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 has been released from jail pending trial.

A judge on April 27 deemed Richard Barnett not dangerous enough to stay in jail as he awaits trial for participating in the breach. Barnett will be released to his home in Arkansas with a GPS monitor.
