A 25-year-old Florida man faces charges of murder after he shot and killed his brother over an argument involving a cheeseburger, authorities said.

Police in St. Cloud said that Benjamin Middendorf called 9/11 after he shot his brother, Nicholas, in his home. His brother was declared dead at the scene from a wound in the chest.

In a 911 call, Middendorf was heard telling a dispatch that he was “trying to hold the pressure” and that they “were in a fight and I grabbed a gun and I shot him,” according to the Orlando Sentinel.  “Oh, my God,” he added.

Their mother said that she and Nicholas returned from the bar when they started arguing.

Benjamin, who doesn’t drink, said his brother started bullying him over a cheeseburger once he got back from the bar. He couldn’t remember much after that, he said.

He is currently being held in Osceola County Jail on murder charges.
