GARDENA, Calif.—A man about 18 to 21 years old was shot to death and two other youths were wounded during a party at a business in Gardena, authorities said July 23.

The shooting was reported at 2:08 a.m. in the 100 block of West 155th Street, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Deputies sent to the scene located the fatal shooting victim as well as two additional gunshot victims, a juvenile and an 18-year-old man, who were taken to local hospitals in stable condition.

The fatal shooting victim had gunshot wounds to the upper body and was rushed to a hospital where he later died.

“Investigators learned there was a party going on at the business location, when a fight ensued between two males and gunshots were heard,” according to a sheriff’s department statement. “The investigation is ongoing and currently there is no additional information.”
