Man Hung Himself in Prospect Park

A man was found hanged in Prospect Park in the early hours of Monday, authorities said.

The man was identified as Mikulas Ceselka, 56, from nearby Park Slope. Officers on patrol found him hanged from a tree near a lake in Prospect Park at around 3:40 a.m. police said.

Police said there was a suicide note but would not disclose the content. The Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed he committed suicide.
