A man who used to work at the Sydney International Airport in Australia had an interesting story to tell.
The man, Patrick Lenton, tweeted that he “faked [his] own death” to escape a difficult customer who was overly demanding, as reported by the Metro.
Lenton spoke with the Metro: “I worked at the airport for around three years, and it was back in 2005 I believe.”
And he assured the publication that his story was a true one.
“'I did have some guy go through the story and try to pinpoint inaccuracies, as if it was all a cunning lie. I can’t really imagine why anyone would make up a story about a fake tunnel though,” he added.
“I never used the ’tunnel defence' again at the airport,” he added. “But I did have a lot of horrible customers, including a man who spat in my face when I refused to serve him, due to the fact that he was meant to be on his flight already. I’ve worked tons of [bad] jobs as well, and had a knife thrown at me when I worked at a pub.”
