Police in San Jose is investigating a residential burglary that occurred on Sept. 13, after a man came home and found five suspects burglarizing his home.
On Sept. 13, around 2:46 p.m., officers with the San Jose Police Department responded to a call about a residential burglary in progress in the 6600 block of Marymonte Court.
Police said the victim arrived home and found five suspects inside his residence.
The suspects fled the residence and tried to get into a stolen vehicle parked outside, but the vehicle wouldn’t start, so they then tried to flee the area on foot.
The victim was able to detain one of the suspects, a juvenile female until police arrived.
Police searched the surrounding area and was able to take three additional juvenile suspects into custody.
The final suspect was not located.
