Police in Colorado say a man has kidnapped a teenager and fled to Missouri.

Longmont police said in an alert that they are asking for public assistance to locate Thomas Ludwig Fechtler, aka Thomas Kitchen.

The 51-year-old is wanted on a felony arrest warrant for sexual assault on a child—position of trust, 2nd degree kidnapping, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, officials said.

He’s believed to be driving a 2007 Toyota Rav4, light green, bearing Missouri plate WH9K2U. This vehicle has rear end damage and expired plates (November 2015).

Fechtler is traveling with his victim, a 16-year-old female whose name has not been released. She’s described as a white girl, 5'3", 120 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes.

Fechtler may be heading to St. Joseph, Darlington, or Kingston.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Longmont Police at 303-651-8501 or local law enforcement for the area in which they are located.
