A video has recently surfaced online of a man known to his family and friends as Tiny, having his dying wish of marrying his fiancé of eleven years granted as he lay in his hospital bed in the final stages of leukemia.

The wedding was something that the couple never dreamed they would be able to do as the spiraling costs of Tiny’s medical care and his rapidly deteriorating health made it appear out of reach. However, as the end drew near for Tiny, his family, friends and the kindhearted hospital staff dropped everything and banded together to make the wedding happen with Tiny’s hospital bed substituting for the altar and the hospital ward as the church.

As the final frantic preparations took place and with time running out, a judge waived the usual 72 hour waiting period for a marriage license, the hospital chefs baked a wedding cake for the couple, and in a moving ceremony watched on by emotional friends, family and staff, the couple pledged their love to each other. Throughout proceedings, Tiny and his soon to be bride hold hands and stare lovingly at each other.

There isn’t a dry eye in the entire hospital as the devoted couple exchange vows and eventually rings signifying their undying love for each other. The most poignant moment comes near the end of the video as a frail looking Tiny kisses his new bride tenderly on the lips and they are declared husband and wife.

Unfortunately, Tiny passed away the next day, but the memory of his final wish and the love he and his wife shared is something that can be cherished by all who attended the wedding for a lifetime.
