A brush fire broke out near Malibu, California, near Castro Peak on Monday morning, it was reported.
Firefighters and helicopters were deployed to the fire, which is around two acres, reported Patch.com.
The fire spread near Corral Canyon Road at Castro Peak Mountainway, according to dispatcher with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
No buildings are currently threatened by the blaze.
The fire started at approximately 8:30 a.m., said a spokesman with L.A. County Fire told the Malibu Times.
The spokesman said the cause of the blaze has yet to be determined.
Castro Peak is listed as the highest peak in the Santa Monica Mountains.
