New Maleficent pictures show Elle Fanning as Aurora and Angelina Jolie as the evil queen.
Walt Disney Studios released the images ahead of the movie’s release on May 30.
It previously released a trailer, which went viral.
The movie explores the story of the the evil queen from “Sleeping Beauty” and what turns her pure heart into stone. Maleficent (Jolie) grew up in the forest kingdom but something changes her.
Maleficent places a curse upon Aurora, the human king’s newborn infant.
The child is caught in the middle of the conflict between the forest kingdom and the human kingdom.
