With just two days before the release of the highly anticipated Disney fairy tale “Maleficent,” fans are preparing for what to expect from star of the film, Angelina Jolie.
According to recent movie clips released by Disney, the evil fairy will display a softer side.

Maleficent (Angelina Jolie) revealed a softer, more understanding creature behind the black, slick horns in the clip “Evil Fairy,” where she seems saddened at the girl’s reaction when she finds out who Maleficent is, almost as if she was tearing up.
In a “Light vs. Dark” featurette, director Robert Stromberg said that Maleficent brings the audience to where there’s a lot of dark, “but also a lot of light.” Jolie said the the evil fairy likes to have fun with bad magic, but the film adheres closely to the classic fairy tale.
The Disney story goes that Maleficent was the evil villain who cursed the Sleeping Beauty into dying after the girl pricks her finger before sunset of her sixteenth birthday.
Aurora, also the name of Sleeping Beauty is played by Elle Fanning. “Maleficent” will hit theaters on May 30, 2014.
