Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Jennifer Lopez dating rumors have appeared to die down, with TMZ posting photos of the “Dancing with the Stars” member.
TMZ posted recent photos of Chmerkovskiy “all over the Hamptons during the 4th weekend -- hitting up Nammos on Friday night and The Surf Lodge on Saturday.”
“Maksim made it clear to everyone who looked ... he’s not dating Jennifer Lopez -- even though he himself stoked the coals,” TMZ said, adding he was seen with fitness model Alesya Bikeeva.
The website suggested that photos of him smiling with other women indicate that he’s not dating Lopez, as was previously rumored.
Lopez and Chmerkovskiy were spotted together in public several times in the past month after “Dancing with the Stars” ended. The rumors followed other ones saying he was dating dance partner Meryl Davis.
A tabloid is reporting that Lopez, 44, had a “meltdown” after her split with Casper Smart.
“Jennifer recently had a complete meltdown,” an unnamed source told In Touch. “She started throwing framed photos of Casper against the wall — there was broken glass everywhere, and the maid had to clean up after her. It was a crazy scene.”
The source added that she has been spending time with Chmerkovskiy but people “in her inner circle say she’s still dealing with her emotions over Casper,” In Touch added.
“[They] are just friends, but I’m sure he'd love it if they were more,” said another source of the two. “He really likes her. He thinks she’s beautiful, really cool and down-to-earth.”
