Madilyn Paige, a 16-year-old pop singer, had her blind audition on “The Voice” on Tuesday on NBC.
In the blind audition, judges listen without seeing the contestant. If they feel the contestant belongs on their team, they can turn around. If more than one turns around, they then try to convince the contestant to join their team.
Two of the four coaches, Usher and Shakira, wanted Paige on their teams.
The Utah native was told by Usher that he would train her into a great artists, while Shakira said that she started singing at a young age and could provide helpful experience.
Paige ultimately chose Team Usher.
