Apple’s Macbook Pro has been updated and is now available with Intel newest processors, the i5 and i7.

Apple released their fastest versions to date of the 15 and 17 inch Macbook Pro which will perform 50 percent faster than the previous versions.

The new Macbook Pros also have a Turbo Boost feature that allows users to increase the processing rate of the computer for taxing, power intensive applications. With the Turbo Boost the new models can go from 2.66GHz to 3.33GHz.

The new Macbook Pros are also sporting a graphics selection feature that was first introduced on Dell’s Alienware M11x.

The graphics selection modification allows users to increase or decrease the intensity of the visual scenes on their laptop allowing for sharper images when playing games or watching movies.

When the extra graphics are not needed users enjoy longer battery life due to the fluctuation in graphics that can allow wireless function for up to 8 to 9 hours.

The Macbook Pro 13” version will now carry the extended battery life that had been previously released for the 15“ and 17” models which allows for a ten hour battery life., along with the graphic selection modification with the Intel Core Duo 2 processor.

The 2.53 GHz 17” is listed at $2,229 with the new Intel i5 chip and the 15” is priced at $1,999. The 2.66 GHz 13” version is listed at $1,499.

All versions are equipped with a standard 4GB of memory.
