Las Vegas Sands Corp., one of the largest casino operators in the world, will open on Tuesday its latest mega-project, the Marino Bay Sands resort-casino in Singapore.
The casino is part of a mega complex that would be complete in June 2010. The company said that the unveiling this week will open roughly half of the 50 restaurants on site, 10 percent of its shops, and almost one-third of its hotel rooms.
The company is betting on an economic rebound in the Asian region.
