Luke Evans fondly remembered Paul Walker, who died in a car crash on November 30, and is dedicating his performance in the upcoming “Hobbit” film to Walker.

Evans was in “Fast & Furious 6” with Walker.

“He was incredibly warm and generous and kind. He was a very open guy,” Evans told Access Hollywood.

“He was just warm and made me feel very welcome on set. He was a great person to be around on a film set.”

Evans had tweeted after Walker’s death: “Paul Walker, my performance in the Hobbit is dedicated to you.” The film is set to debut soon, and nationwide on December 13.

“I just want him to be remembered and I want to keep his spirit alive somehow, because he was such a lovely guy and it’s just my little way of showing my love and loss, in a sort of public way,” Evans said. “I just wanted him to know, I wanted everyone to know, that that was for him, I dedicated my performance to him.

“I hope he’s remembered for a very long time because he was such a lovely guy,” Evans said.
